User-friendly software

Pros

What I liked the most was how user-friendly it is and how easy it made getting my work done. Overall, it is made my job so much easier.

Cons

Well I am new to using the platform and haven't come across any downsides so far.

A complete app!!

Pros

I really like being able to access scheduling, time off and payroll info all in one app. It makes everything so much easier to manage.

Cons

I did find it a bit tricky to navigate some of the documents required for tax purposes.

As a whole, my experience was really positive and pleasant. Gusto software is so easy to use and well-organized, making it very practical and functional for everyday tasks.

Cons

I feel like the support could definitely use more options and respond faster.

A perfect fit for our needs

Pros

Gusto software is perfect for what I needed as a small business employer wearing multiple hats. It made payroll more accurate and a lot less stressful. The system is straightforward and simple which makes it easy to spot any errors and complete payroll without any complications.

Cons

The system is quite basic and does not include all the data categories that larger, more expensive systems offer. However, if you have the time to make it work and pair it with an app that integrates well, it's definitely worth the cost.

Poor experience

Pros

I am really disappointed with this company. Simply TERRIBLE. All I needed was basic payroll service, and they completely messed it up and refused to fix it. So I am definitely letting them go. They should learn that problems can happen in any business but you need to help the client when things go wrong. But they left us with no options, and their staff seems completely incompetent.

Cons

I am not with this service. They messed up our payroll by reporting it as bi-weekly instead of monthly. Since we make payments monthly but the EDD expects taxes bi-weekly, we have ended up with penalties building up. It's been a huge headache.

Has a lot of great features

Pros

I really loved using Gusto. My employer used it, and I found requesting time off and checking vacation time is very easy with it. It was also really helpful for accessing tax documents. Plus, there were several saving options, which I liked. Overall, I loved how simple it was to get to my payroll information and tax docs.

Cons

My least favorite thing about Gusto was how difficult it was to transfer funds from a Gusto savings account to a regular banking account.

Nothing is there to be like!

Pros

Honestly, there is nothing particularly exceptional about this software that stands out as a pro for me.

Cons

Setting up payments and sending them out was very challenging for me. I will not recommend it to any.
