Planday is a remarkable software
Pros

It's so convenient to stay in touch with the HR team, and the ease of access and usage makes my experience even better.

Cons

So far, everything has been good and I haven't come across anything I dislike.

Don't get stuck with it!
Pros

The only likable aspect was the salesperson we dealt with as he was very friendly and helpful.

Cons

They charged us for services we didn't use. After signing the contract, we found out from our staff that they had already used Planday in other jobs and did not find it good. We decided to cancel six weeks before the contract started but they still charged us for 12 months. We requested to talk to a senior manager, but instead they set up a Direct Debit to withdraw the full amount without our consent. This behavior was unacceptable. If the system had been better, we wouldn't have canceled.

Great features but very slow at times
Pros

After a lot of research to find the best scheduling app for our restaurant chain, I came to the conclusion that Planday offers wide range of useful features that meet all our needs.

Cons

The mobile app takes too long to load. Our employees, who are used to faster apps on their iPhones have experienced delays of 30 to 45 seconds when opening it. We contacted support, and while there is been slight improvement, the app is still slow and employees find it frustrating.

Excellent software
Pros

I've been using Planday for two years now, and I have no plans to switch to any other product. It is accurate, easy to navigate and supports multitasking easily.

Cons

Honestly, I haven't found anything about the system that I dislike.

Am a happy user!!!
Pros

Honestly, I am very much pleased with Planday. With it, it is fairly convenient to manage employees from different departments all in one place. Also it keeps everything organized and makes my work so much easier.

Cons

I feel like creating reports and printing schedules could be a lot simpler and more user-friendly. So it's something that could definitely use some improvement.

Easy to use, even for beginners
Pros

Planday software is very easy to use and its layout is very simple too, even for the staff. I particularly love the shift-swapping feature as it's a fantastic addition.

Cons

The main drawback is that some features, like requesting holidays can only be accessed through the desktop version, which limits flexibility.

Good, but it could be better
Pros

Well I really like how easy it is to use. Setting up employees is also not a problem and the interactive communication makes it simple to stay in touch with the team. The calendar-based visuals are super helpful for organizing everything and I love that you can group employees by their skills. It is great for making sure shifts go to the right people with the right skills for the job.

Cons

Well I am not a fan of being locked into a year-long contract without any warning before it's up for renewal. It feels a bit unfair. Also, while some ways of communicating with employees are fine, others are really clunky and end up creating extra work for the admins.

Disappointing customer service
Pros

Plasday has multiple great features that our staff scheduling team finds useful, like the scheduler, while the payroll team benefits from the punch clock feature.

Cons

As per me Planday software isn't very flexible and we have been waiting over 8 months for certain issues to be resolved. For example, we can't even use it for payroll because of a problem within Planday that still has not been fixed. The customer support is another big issue as we sometimes wait days or even weeks for a reply, and there is no way to actually talk to someone. Everything has to go through email, which slows things down and brings operations to a halt. Also, the HR records could really use some improvement to include more personal information.

Apps availability makes it our top choice
Pros

Having the app on my phone is such a game-changer. I can easily check my work schedule and even clock in and out directly from my device. Planday really helps me manage my busy schedule by breaking it all down for me and I love that it updates me instantly whenever there's a schedule change.

Cons

I am not a fan of all the Google tracking as it feels like it is everywhere I go. Plus, I really wish the layout was a bit more user-friendly.

Easy to customize
Pros

What I like most about Planday is being able to customize my reports and access them on any device.

Cons

While I like it, the system is not very user-friendly and requires some effort to explore and fully understand before using it effectively.
