It's so great that it shows me exactly how many vacation and sick days I have left without needing to guess.

Cons

I don't like when it tells me I've used up all my vacation time. Also I cant view my pay stubs here.

It lets new employees acclimate to our business

Kin is a consultancy based software company that helps create meaningful workplaces. We typically bring them in once a month to help us refocus on our mission and vision. It's also a great opportunity for new employees to connect with our work culture and purpose. They customize their services according to the situation and have expertise in areas like motivation, self care, onboarding and social media integration.

Cons

I've tried to come up with some negatives about working with Kin, but they do such a great job. They really listen to what we need and always want to help us improve. Their genuine approach makes us feel like family every time we meet.

Great for Hr of small businesses

I appreciated the ease of onboarding new hires at the small company I worked at.

Cons

Some of our employees were used to larger platforms, so it took a little while for them to get used to how Kin works.

A simple yet highly effective tool for HR management. It's very easy to configure and userfriendly for our employees.

I can't think of anything I dislike about this tool. It works great and does exactly what it should.

Excellent hr software

Pros

Kin has been a fantastic tool for chromatic. We have had no issues with usage or implementation. It's easy to use and includes most of the features we need. The support is exceptional and Kin clearly values its customers, which is a major advantage.

Cons

The only thing I think could be improved is reporting. It would be nice to access the data efficiently. Otherwise no issues! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an HR solution.

I wish the review section was easier to use. Its a bit clunky to set up and sometimes employees aren't sure where to put their responses. I would love it if you could add fields for questions and responses when setting up the review. The review section is fine but it could be more flexible, like hiding what the employee writes until they're ready for the employer to see it. Sometimes people want time to think before submitting their answers.

Excellent for employee onboarding. It streamlines the process, making it virtually paperless and allows for easy tracking of documentation and PTO.

Cons

I have no complaints at all.
