The platform is really simple to use
Pros

The software is incredibly accessible, which makes managing schedules an easy task. I really like being able to see a quick summary of my used and upcoming time off, along with a clear breakdown of balances in various categories. The layout is very simple to use, and the way the information is displayed makes it very easy to interpret at a glance. What I love the most is how smooth the sign-up process is.

Cons

I find it a bit challenging to locate the specific tool that allows me to see how many hours of paid time off I will have accumulated in the future. While the system generally makes it easy to find the information I am looking for, this particular feature is not as easy as I would prefer. I tend to favor tools that are simple and simple to use, and for the most part, this platform meets that expectation. I have not faced any significant issues or problems while using it, so there is nothing major that I dislike about the system. That said, I do wish the Staff dashboard offered more detailed insights and information for end users, as it currently feels a bit lacking in that area. A more informative dashboard would make the overall experience even better for me.

Purely HR Makes Life Better
Pros

As the Program Director overseeing more than 60 employees, PurelyHR has been a great time-saver and has significantly reduced my daily stress. In the past, we had to rely on compiling reports manually on paper or calculating leave on spreadsheets, but this software has completely transformed how we handle these tasks for the better.

Cons

I have come across a few small problems when it comes to calculating leave for my new employees. The system does not always calculate the time off as smoothly as I would like. However, this issue is not a major concern for me, and it is something I can deal with without too much trouble. It may cause a bit of extra work or double-checking on my part, but overall, it is just a minor inconvenience that I can handle without it seriously affecting my overall experience.

Meets requirements - a good product for money
Pros

The platform is very user-friendly, featuring an excellent user interface and user experience. The time-off reports are impressive, and there are plenty of custom reports available, making it easy to use and manage different types of time-off policies and allocations. The customization options meet all our needs for managing PTO effectively.

Cons

There is no mobile application available. The Employee Data dashboards are rather limited when compared to the excellent time-off reports. While other modules are present, they offer limited functionality, preventing a truly integrated HR system. Also, there is no integration with payroll systems.

Excellent Time Saver for me
Pros

PurelyHR is really easy to move around in, making it simple to find what you need without getting confused. There are so many presets that make it unnecessary to start from scratch. Having a dedicated account manager and getting training throughout the process has helped us optimize the software's features.

Cons

As is the case with all HR tools, some functionalities appear excessive and unnecessary. However, over time, I have learned to accept these additional features, and some of them have even become best practices.

A very helpful tool
Pros

I find it convenient to log in and check my accruals for paid time off, such as sick, vacation, or personal days. As I continue using the platform, I can easily track how many hours I have left. The request process, when I need to make one, is simple and smooth.

Cons

There is nothing negative to report. The process is extremely easy when using this software.

Easy Time Off Tracking
Pros

The tracking system for time off is fantastic. Employees can easily submit time-off requests with a variety of options available. They can choose to request either a full day or a partial day, with even more flexible options to fit their needs.

Cons

I find the time-off tracking calendar to be a bit confusing at first glance. However, after becoming accustomed to it, it is not as challenging as it initially seems.

Purely HR - great system, better experience!
Pros

It is a very simple system that offers a lot of flexibility. The features are simple but can be tailored to meet a company's specific requirements. The interface is appealing, and it is accessible for everyone, which saves a lot of time for all involved.

Cons

It is simply an HR system, and we only utilize it as a database for employees and for tracking vacation time. It does not fully support multiple languages.

Excellent! Makes life easier!
Pros

The platform was very easy to install and is easy to use. We are currently using only the time-off module, and it works well for both managers and employees. The time-off calendar integrates with Google Calendar, with some special configuration. The staff report is also easy to customize, and the customer service is outstanding.

Cons

It does not appear possible to create sub-departments. It would be beneficial if we could export the organizational chart into a visually appealing PowerPoint-style chart or at least a PDF. It would also be great if it could integrate or provide links to an existing payroll provider in Canada, such as Ceridian and Nethris. This would facilitate updates regarding taken time and employees' personal information, such as their addresses. This suggestion is intended for future updates for PurelyHR.

Purely makes HR work easier
Pros

PurelyHR is a very easy-to-use platform that serves as our time-off management solution. Although we do not utilize all its features and capabilities, it functions well for the things we use it for.

Cons

The interface feels somewhat outdated in terms of aesthetics. It lacks the flashy and trendy appearance of some other platforms, but this is not a significant issue for me. It functions properly.

PurelyHR have been extremely helpful in streamlining our processes
Pros

Before we switched to the current software, my employer had been using PurelyHR. The system was very simple to move around in, and its interface looked nice and was pleasant to use. It was also really easy to grasp, making it easy for everyone to work with without running into any confusion or difficulties. Everything about it was smooth, and getting tasks done felt pretty easy.

Cons

I did not experience anything negative while using PurelyHR, however, there were instances when I had to navigate through several clicks to find something that should have been more accessible.
